Fall in Arizona means farmers market season is officially back.
As temperatures finally start to cool, Saturday and Sunday mornings around Scottsdale + Phoenix fill with fresh Arizona produce, locally baked breads, flowers, coffee, specialty foods and some of the Valley’s best local makers.
Some of these markets are big enough to make an entire morning of it, while others have more of a neighborhood feel—perfect for grabbing fresh produce and breakfast before getting on with your weekend.
From Old Town Scottsdale and Central Phoenix to Gilbert, Chandler and the West Valley, here are 10 farmers markets around the Valley of the Sun to visit during the 2026–2027 season.
Market dates and hours can change seasonally, so I’ve included a direct link for each one below.
📅 Saturdays | October 3, 2026–Spring 2027
⏰ October–April: 8 AM–1 PM
📍 3939 N. Drinkwater Boulevard, Scottsdale
One of Scottsdale’s favorite Saturday traditions is back for its 18th season—and there’s an important change for 2026: a new location.
The Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market is moving to 3939 N. Drinkwater Boulevard and features more than 100 local growers and specialty food producers.
Expect Arizona-grown produce, flowers, artisan breads, cheeses, jams, tamales, eggs, meats, fish and plenty of other locally produced foods. This market is specifically focused on food and farming, making it one of the better choices if you're actually coming to stock the kitchen rather than primarily shop for crafts.
It’s also easy to turn a market morning into brunch, shopping or a walk through Old Town afterward.
May hours change to 8 AM–12 PM, with June hours shifting earlier.

📅 Saturdays Year-Round + Wednesdays October–April
⏰ Fall/Winter Saturdays: 8 AM–1 PM | Wednesdays: 9 AM–1 PM
📍 5757 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix
If you want a farmers market that feels like a Saturday morning destination, Uptown is one of the Valley’s big ones.
Located at North Phoenix Baptist Church at Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road, Uptown brings together a large mix of farmers, food producers and local businesses.
You can shop for produce and pantry staples, but half the fun is arriving hungry. You'll find baked goods, coffee, specialty foods and plenty of things to eat while you browse.
The Saturday market operates year-round, while the popular Wednesday market returns in October for the cooler season.
Seasonal hours change throughout the year, so check the current schedule before heading out.
📅 Saturdays Year-Round
⏰ Fall/Winter: 8 AM–1 PM
📍 Arizona Center | 455 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix
The Downtown PHX Farmers Market brings Arizona farms and small businesses right into the heart of Downtown Phoenix.
The year-round outdoor market features seasonal produce, eggs, meats, breads and locally produced foods alongside coffee, breakfast options and local makers.
Its location inside the Arizona Center makes this one particularly easy to combine with breakfast or a morning downtown.
The market shifts to earlier hours during the hotter months, so always check the current schedule before visiting.
📅 Saturdays Year-Round
⏰ October–May: 8 AM–12 PM

This long-running North Phoenix market has been around since 1990 and has a relaxed neighborhood feel.
You'll find local seasonal fruits and vegetables, baked goods, honey, plants, natural meats and fish, along with a selection of handcrafted products.
The location is a bonus for families: Roadrunner Park has a playground, fishing pond and plenty of open space, so this is an easy market to pair with a Saturday morning at the park.
Summer hours shift earlier to beat the heat.

⏰ October–April: 8 AM–12 PM
📍 Chandler-Gilbert Community College | 2626 E. Pecos Road, Chandler
Despite the name, here’s something important to know for 2026: Gilbert Farmers Market is now held at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Chandler.
After years in Downtown Gilbert, the popular market moved to the college campus and continues to feature a huge assortment of local food businesses and Arizona growers.
Known as “The Foodie Market,” it features more than 150 vendors throughout the year, with produce, eggs, meat, cheese, breads, sweets, coffee, tea, sauces, seasonings and locally made artisan products.
One other important change: because the market is now on a college campus, pets are not permitted.
Summer hours are 7–11 AM, with the fall/winter schedule beginning in October.
📅 Saturdays Year-Round
⏰ October–May: 9 AM–1 PM
📍 Dr. A.J. Chandler Park | Downtown Chandler
This market gets extra points for location.
Set at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park in the heart of Downtown Chandler, the Saturday market brings together local farmers, food vendors and artisans within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shops and gathering spaces.
That makes it easy to shop the market and then stick around for brunch or spend some time exploring Downtown Chandler.
The market operates rain or shine and is dog-friendly for leashed pups.

📅 Sundays Year-Round
⏰ October–May: 9 AM–1 PM
📍 4700 E. Warner Road, Phoenix
For a Sunday option, head to Ahwatukee.
This neighborhood market has been operating since 2002 and offers fresh seasonal produce, herbs, flowers, baked goods, natural meats and seafood, prepared foods and local arts and crafts.
It's smaller and more neighborhood-oriented than some of the Valley’s destination markets, which is part of its appeal if you want a relaxed Sunday morning stop.
During June through September, the market moves to earlier 8–11 AM hours.
📅 Saturdays Year-Round
⏰ October–April: 9 AM–1 PM
📍 Dream City Church | 21000 N. 75th Avenue, Glendale
West Valley shoppers, take note: Arrowhead Farmers Market is no longer held at Arrowhead Towne Center.
The year-round Saturday market is now at Dream City Church near 75th Avenue and the Loop 101.
This one goes beyond produce, combining farmers with chefs, artisans, food trucks and rotating local vendors, giving it more of a community-market atmosphere.
Admission is free, friendly leashed dogs are welcome, and the vendor mix changes from week to week.
📅 Thursdays Year-Round
⏰ October–May: 9 AM–1 PM
📍 16820 N. 99th Avenue, Sun City
Not every farmers market has to happen on the weekend.
The Sun City Farmers Market takes place every Thursday and offers local seasonal produce, herbs, flowers, baked goods, natural meats, seafood and specialty food products.
It's been operating since 2013 and gives West Valley residents a convenient weekday option.
During the summer months, hours shift earlier to 7–10 AM.
📅 Sundays | Opens October 4, 2026
⏰ October–May: 9 AM–1 PM
📍 Verrado Town Square | N. Market Place + W. Main Street, Buckeye
If you're in the far West Valley—or looking for an excuse to explore Verrado—this Sunday market has one of the more distinctive settings on the list.
Located at Verrado Town Square, the market features local producers offering seasonal and organic crops, plants, seeds, farm-fresh eggs and other locally produced goods.
Its Main Street setting makes it easy to grab coffee, walk around town and turn the market into a relaxed Sunday outing.
